FAQ for SC01 Body Camera

Thanks for ordering our body camera SC01. Before usage, we would suggest you spend a few minutes watching our training courses. Please visit training videos for sc01 body camera

Also for your convenience, we have sorted out common problems while using this camera. Please take a look at them before using the camera.

I cannot power the camera by pressing the power button.

First please make sure your camera has the remaining battery. 

Release the button and try pressing it again for more than 3 seconds. If it still doesn’t work, press the RESET button with a pin a couple of times and try again.

  • How to export video to computer? 

Connect the camera to a windows computer with a USB cable and enter the default password “000000” by pressing Confirm Button to unlock the camera’s memory card. The camera will turn into a USB disk driver in the computer and then you can copy files from it. You can also use Cam Manager in CD Rom to unlock videos. 

  • Does it support auto night vision?

Yes, you will be able to turn it on in the camera setting (IR Filter). It was originally set to Manual Mode.

  • How to turn on the Flash LED light? How to turn on the SOS light?

In standby mode, hold the FN button for 2-3 seconds to turn on/off the Flash LED light. 

In standby mode, hold the Audio button for 2-3 seconds to turn on/off SOS Alarm.

  • How to get software like Cam Manager, Evidence Software?

You have a couple of ways to get the software. 

  • Copy them from the USB flash drives in the package. 
  • Download them from our official website https://www.spikecam.com
  • Copy them from CD ROM
  • When I try to connect the device with Cam Manager, it is not responding at all. Nothing changes on the Cam Manager. 

We assumed that the connection between the camera and computer is not stable. Please try these solutions. 

  • Try to use the Side USB port on the camera if you are using a cradle. 
  • Try another USB port on the computer or try it on another computer.
  • Try another mini USB lead/cable if you have one.

  • How do I get evidence software? How to obtain a license?

You will be able to find DEMS (Digital Evidence Management Software) in the USB Driver in the package or download it from Google Drive. Please follow our training videos step by step to install the software and copy us the machine code, our support team will generate a license for you. The DEMS is a complicated system, you better follow the video guide step by step. If you have any problems while installing, please contact us by Amazon message or email [email protected].  

  • When I connected camera to computer, it reminded me “Unrecognized USB device…”

The connection between the camera and computer is not stable, please take a reference of Point 7.
