  • How to Adjust the Sound on the Z9 Body Camera?

There are several options in the Z9 to manage sound settings:

1) Key Tone: If set to “Off,” the camera will not make a beeping sound when keys are pressed. Note that turning this feature off also disables the SOS Alarm Siren and the Power On/Off sound.

2) Button Volume: You can adjust the button sound volume to Off, Low, Medium, or High. This requires that the Key Tone feature is enabled first.

3) Voice Broadcast: When enabled, the camera will provide English voice prompts for actions such as “start/stop video recording.” If Button Volume is turned off or Stealth Mode is enabled, voice prompts will also be disabled.

4) Stealth Mode: This mode turns off all sounds and status lights. It has the highest priority, so when activated, all sound and lights are disabled.

Additionally, there is a Record with Sound option, which controls audio recording during video capture:

5) Record with Sound: You can turn off sound during video recording by selecting “Off,” which will result in video-only recording without audio. However, it’s recommended to keep the sound on to capture the full experience of the video.
