Date: January 2nd, 2025

  1. Improved the trigger mechanism of the front buttons, optimizing response time.
  2. Added a microphone gain adjustment feature, allowing users to set the microphone gain to High, Medium, or Low. (If you find the audio gain too high and distorted, upgrading the firmware and setting it to Medium can help resolve the issue.)

Upgrading the firmware is simple—please refer to the instructions at the bottom of this page.

FAQ:

  • The camera is showing a “No Memory Card” message.

Typically, the memory card should already be installed inside the camera. Please kindly check under the USB cover to see if the TF memory card is there.

For first-time use, the memory card needs to be formatted to enable its storage capacity. You can do this by navigating to the “Format” option in the menu. Please refer to Section 2.27 (Page 12) of the user manual for detailed instructions.

  • Camera won’t turn on: Please charge the camera battery for at least 2 hours, then try turning it on again.
  • Camera is unresponsive: Press the hod the Power Button for 15 seconds to power off the camera, then restart it.
  • Device failed to connect to the computer: Try using a different USB port on your computer or a different USB Type-C cable.
  • LEDs do not light up: Check if Stealth Mode is enabled
  • Unable to play video files: Use VLC player to play files as some player does not support 4K files.
  • If not using the camera for a long time: Make sure to fully charge the battery.
  • When the Time Lapse function is enabled, audio recording will not be available.
  • How to Synchronize Time Using a TXT Document on the S3 Body Camera

Yes, if you enable the Time Lapse Video option in the menu, the system will automatically disable the standalone audio recording feature. To enable audio recording, simply turn off the Time Lapse Video function. (Note: In older firmware versions, enabling Time Lapse may cause the device to freeze. If this happens, press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds to force a shutdown, then restart the device and turn off the Time Lapse Video function.)

Firmware Upgrading:

Some customers have reported difficulty in stopping the recording, as the double-press can be hard to trigger. Our engineers promptly made firmware improvements to address this. Customers who need this fix can update their firmware to resolve the issue. Here is the firmware upgrade guide.
